The Possibilities with Engineering

When thinking about graduating with a master in engineering, your opportunities are almost endless. There are a number of different fields that many universities offer that can open up many doors for your future. For example, if you graduate as a civil engineer major, you can also look into structural engineering, transportation engineering, and materials engineering. As a new engineer, you may be testing and devolving new products such as designing a new robot or creating a new software system. There are 17 different engineering specialties covered in the Federal Government’s Standard Occupational Classification system (SOC). These consist of Aerospace, Biomedical, Civil, Electronics, Mechanical, and many more. When thinking about choosing a specific field, you should pursue what you like and that you can relate to. If someone like the ocean and being by the sea, they may want to enter the Marine Engineering field. Again, engineering can open a lot of doors for you. The possibilities are almost endless, and you are sure to find a field that has something to do with you.
